MECDA Happenings Submissions

Advertise with MECDA! MECDA's Happenings goes out to over 600 members each month across the country, and a few around the world! Members take advantage of special discounts. This is a fabulous, inexpensive way to get the word out about your event, product, and/or just share your thoughts.

Submit an event: Choose this link to submit a MECDA sponsored event, regular event, showcase, travel opportunity, or workshop.
Submit a flier: Choose this link to submit a full page flier for the MECDA Happenings. Fliers submitted will also be posted on the website at no additional charge.
Submit a business card sized advertisement: Choose this link to submit your text or picture ad that will appear in the classified section, as a business card sized ad.
Submit a question to "Ask Shuvani": Send in your pressing belly dance questions to our local, mystery gypsy. She'll answer your question in an upcoming edition of the Happenings!
Submit a photo, article, poem, review, etc.: Choose this link to send in your creative thoughts! We want to hear from fellow dancers, what inspires you?
Submit an announcement: Choose this link to provide an announcement to the membership.
Submit a website-only Flier: Choose this link to submit a flier just for the website.

Email the Happenings Editor: happenings@mecda.org One more way to advertise with MECDA!! Provide your flier to our fabulous webmaster and have it posted until your event ends. Fliers on the website are $20 per month for members, $40 per month for non-members.

Our publication goes to over 600 members! Submit information for your event, workshop, or showcase! Submissions are for use in the online Happenings as well as on the MECDA website. *

* Fliers submitted to the online Happenings will also be placed on the MECDA website at no additional charge.

Files sent that are not in an acceptable format (jpeg, pdf, gif, png) will not be used. Files sent late for events that will have passed will not be used.

Pricing

Happenings Fliers:

$40 per month members
$60 per month non-members

Website Fliers:

$20 per month for members
$40 per month for non-members

Business Card Size Ads:

$10 per month for members
$30 per month for non-members

Text submissions:

Free for members (up to 5 events, limit 25 words per listing)
$8 per month non-members (up to 25 words)
$5 each additional 25 words, members
$8 each additional 25 words, non-members

Advertise your business for this low price and reach dancers all over the country. All submissions must be received by the 10th of the month prior to the month the ad will appear. Submissions received after the 10th of the month will not be placed until the next issue. Don’t be late! (ie: If you have a submission for September, it must be submitted by August 10th.)
